Rory is a specialist commercial and non-contentious intellectual property lawyer and a Partner in our commercial team.

With a pragmatic and commercially minded approach, Rory’s work includes advising clients on a range of areas including IP exploitation and brand protection, risk management, privacy and data, and all types of commercial arrangements.

Prior to joining Primas, Rory spent 12 years working in house with global brands, owner led start-ups and private equity backed companies across the ecommerce, retail, media and technology sectors and was a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, C-suite execs, and senior leaders as well as to colleagues across all levels of the business.  He brings direct practical experience of working with terms of sale, distribution and agency, third party service, licensing, sponsorship, and confidentiality agreements, as well as major event activations and marketing campaigns.

Outside of work, Rory can be found managing his eldest son’s football team and generally trying to keep fit enough to keep up with his two sons. He is active in his local church and a director of his former rowing club.
