Partner - Employment Law
Catherine is an employment law partner at Primas Law. She prides herself on working in partnership with clients to ensure their employment law needs and commercial objectives are met from every angle.
Her knowledge and expertise includes day-to-day advice on general workplace issues through to strategic advice to defend against Employment Tribunal claims.
Before joining Primas, she spent seven years as a qualified employment lawyer for a leading Legal 500 firm. She has been described as “a must-have support partner for any HR manager” and “a professional and reliable high-quality solicitor who provides an outstanding service”.
Catherine advises clients in relation to the full spectrum of employment law ranging from redundancies, TUPE and Employment Tribunal procedures through to restrictive covenants, reviewing and amending employment contracts, and drafting settlement agreements. She has particular expertise in employment status and regularly provides advice relating to agencies/agency workers.
Catherine conducts her own advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and has successfully represented a number of company clients. She is also a regular public speaker and has presented numerous employment law related seminars and training courses.
Outside of the office, Catherine is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in the art of Shukokai Karate.
