Primas makes trio of new hires

After our recent merger, we’ve got ambitious plans for the north west, so our new hires will play a big part in driving this additional growth.

We are pleased to announce that we have made three new hires as part of our ambitious growth plans for the north west.

We have welcomed solicitors Katie Hitchen and Katy Williamson to our real estate team, and paralegal, Dammy Osemwenkhae into our litigation department.

Katie Hitchen joins the team following her training at SAS Daniels in Stockport and specialises in small development projects. During her training contract, she held her own sales and purchases agreements as well as tenant and landlord files.

Katy Williamson joins Primas from Cambridge firm, Ashtons Legal and has since worked in firms across London and Cambridge where she managed commercial acquisitions and development files as well as acting for developers, private landlords and community trusts.

Joining our litigation arm is paralegal, Dammy Osemwenkhae. Dammy is an experienced paralegal and has a wealth of experience in the finance litigation sector, assisting on volume debt recovery matters for the UK’s leading banks and financial institutions.

Commenting on the two new additions to his team, Simon Baxter, Partner and Head of Real Estate, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome both Katy and Katie to the real estate team. Both of them have extensive experience in the sector, coupled with bags of ambition, and I’m confident that they will help to strengthen our growing firm. After our recent merger, we’ve got ambitious plans for the north west, so our new hires will play a big part in driving this additional growth.”

Daniel Thomas, Partner and Head of Litigation, added: “Following our recent merger at the end of last year, we really want to see Primas go from strength to strength; so, adding experienced members to our team is a huge part of that. Dammy has already proven to be a great support to the litigation team and we’re really pleased to have her join us.”

Primas recently merged with Manchester-based law firm, Freeman Fisher last year and has big plans for further growth and expansion. This latest raft of recruits takes the team to 36.
