Primas Law has strengthened its team by promoting two key members of staff.
Catherine Kerr, who has been with Primas since it was first established five years ago, has been promoted to Partner, and is aiming to grow and develop the firm’s strong employment law offering.
Catherine is a highly experienced solicitor and her knowledge spans from advising business owners on day-to-day general workplace issues through to strategic advice and representation for businesses defending against employment tribunal claims.
She is a specialist in employment status, providing advice relating to agencies and agency workers.
Following her appointment, Catherine said: “At Primas, we have some really bold ambitions for our growth. We already have a strong employment law offering and I am looking forward to the challenge of taking that to the next level.
“We’ve got a fantastic reputation in the industry for delivering the right commercial outcome for our clients, so I am pleased to be able to expand on this further in the employment law sector.”
A further key appointment for Primas includes Tim Dillon, who has worked as a real estate solicitor at Primas since 2017.
An experienced adviser on complex purchases for developers and commercial real estate matters, Tim has been promoted to Associate.
Simon Baxter, Partner and Head of Real Estate at Primas Law, said: “There’s no doubt that both Catherine and Tim bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm. We are committed to staff development and career progression, so we’re delighted to have promoted them to their new positions.
“As we continue to grow the practice at pace, it’s been key for us to appoint the right people in the right roles and we’re sure this latest set of promotions will be another driver for further success.”
