We're seeing this pattern of re-evaluation across the business world, from IT to retail, and specialist firms like ours are winning business and growing because we put the client first above all else.

North West commercial and corporate law firm, Primas, is marking its 18-month anniversary with the opening of a new Manchester city centre office thanks to the firm’s rapid growth.

The company has taken new offices on Fountain Street which it will operate alongside its current Daresbury Park premises to accommodate its growing team.

The firm has also attracted a new addition in the form of former director of Bootes Simon Baxter and his team.

Simon has joined Primas as a partner to expand their strong commercial offering to include development and real estate.

His expertise includes the provision of legal and commercial solutions for developers delivering large scale residential housing schemes, mixed use developments and green energy plant.

Founder and senior partner Adam Kerr launched Primas in January 2014 to offer a new approach to providing legal advice to commercial and corporate clients across the country.

Primas founder and Senior Partner Adam Kerr launched the firm in January 2014 to offer a leaner and keener approach to providing legal advice to commercial and corporate clients across the country.

Adam said: “Our rate of growth over the past 18 months reflects the fact that our quality and cost-effectiveness has proven to be a highly attractive alternative to the larger traditional law firms.

“Being able to open our first Manchester office is a hugely important step and really highlights our growing reputation and client base in the North West and further afield.

“The legal sector has come under intense pressure in recent years and Manchester has seen a lot of legal casualties as a result.

In the current commercial climate, clients are increasingly looking to more interactive law firms with the focus being on the people that clients want to work with, rather than sticking to the one big firm that they’ve always used.
