Primas Law advises Argent Industrial on the acquisition of the Ramsden Group

Primas Law’s Manchester Corporate Team has advised Argent Industrial, the JSE-listed diversified industrial group, on the acquisition of the Ramsden Group, comprising Ramsden and Whale Limited, Ramsden Pallets Limited and Drumcare (Holdings) Limited for £10.8 million.

Founded in 1954, the Ramsden Group specialises in the manufacture of new and reconditioned steel drums, the supply of wooden pallets and the reconditioning of intermediate bulk containers under its own waste management licences, operating from premises owned by the group.

The acquisition further diversifies Argent’s growing portfolio and continues its international expansion in the UK.
