In the wake of the cost-of-living crisis, our Manchester team chose to continue our partnership with The Wood Street Mission charity, a children’s charity that helps families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford. The charity provides struggling families with children’s clothes, bedding, baby equipment, toys and books.
Every year, Wood Street Mission appeals for brand new toys, gifts and books for children aged 0-14 as part of their Christmas appeal. Struggling families are then able to come by and pick out a special gift to put under the tree for their children to open on the big day.
Our Manchester team wanted to support their local community, and so we set up collection boxes in our Manchester office and employees to bring in any of the necessities listed above along with financial donations.
